Goldfinch Bakehouse
Goldfinch Bakehouse is a Glastonbury home-based cottage bakery. Small batch breads, muffins, brownies & cookies are made to order using traditional baking techniques.
All baked goods are made to order. Free delivery is available in Glastonbury and Manchester or a pick up time may be coordinated with Lori @ 860-841-0454 (text message preferred.)
Breads
Breads are made with all organic flours and a natural, live starter (flour and water) rather than commercial yeast. Lead time for breads is 4 days due to the slow rise required for this leavening process. The result is bread with a greater depth of flavor.
Muffins and Brownies
Muffins and brownies are made using the excess starter (flour and water) from bread baking. This enhances the richness and texture of the baked goods.
